RFE is heart shattering. Everyone hates RFE. It would be great if someone who has recieved RFE could tell us what you did after you receive RFE?

What are the action we should take if we get RFE? Thanks

you'll only know once you receive it. Each case is different. It could be as simple as a missing signature or requesting more proof.

If you get an RFE, the letter will state what was missing / filled out wrong / what part of the petition required more evidence than what you submitted. Once you get the letter, you will simply follow the instructions on it and send in whatever evidence is requested..

It's not the end of the world. Many people get then, a lot of times just for not being careful enough the first time around to make sure everything is filled out properly and all supportive documents are in order. It will delay your process a bit, but that's all.

Did you get one? What you do depends on the RFE, because they are all different. It might be a very simple one such as forgetting to sign something, or it might be more complicated. Ours was a 3-page RFE and I hired an attorney to get us through it because I didn't want any mistakes or anything forgotten.

*edit* I didn't look at your timeline, but ours was at the USCIS stage, not NVC.

You should send exactly what they are requesting and keep a copy of the notice and a copy of what you are sending to USCIS. I got a RFE too, don't let this turn you down. Good luck!!!
