Ok, as of today, it has been 5 long months since we received our NOA1. I KNOW that Vermont is backlogged for like a month or so. Therefore, I keep in mind that it can take a couple more weeks til we'll receive our NOA2.

Because of the fact Vermont is backlogged, doesn't mean I can try to put in a service request. This is going to be the first time for me to put in a service request. Should I E-mail them every day, call them every day? til they get fed up with me and work on our case??

So, I am about to start E-mailing them, but somehow I see different E-mail addresses on "search". What is their correct E-mail address???

Thank you in advance!!

I'd like to know also. I'll hit 7 months this week. You may not want to let me have the e-mail address, because I figure I'd send them about 20 a day at this point.

Channah!... Attempt to put in a Service Request. They will deny it. Then write a letter to both of your Senators and your Congressman explaining your situation. Make sure you let them know about the Processing Chart on USCIS.gov and what it states about processing in less time than their goal, etc...

Good luck!

The email address is on the USCIS web site. But they will send a response saying that you have to give the service request number or the date you called the national help line. The email will also say that they will not respond to any further emails without that information. I tired it already.

I think emailing was the most useless thing I did - if anything, it set me back. Once you send an email request, they answer it and inevitably they say it might be 60 more days from the date they email your back. So you end up being stuck with a 60 day delay + the two weeks they didn't respond. THEN, ANYTIME YOU CALL TO FOLLOW UP they throw that in your face. In my seventh month of waiting, I had at least 2 service officers cut me off and say "But on February 23, didn't you get that email saying it was going to be another 60 days? Is that correct? That 60 days has not passed yet, correct?" Meanwhile, I had gotten much shorter time frames on the phone with people. They don't keep track of your calls very well, but they keep good track of your emails and they give you the worse case scenario in the emails because they won't bet any verbal pushback. That was my experience anyway.
