I am finalizing the requested documents for our RFE so I can send it in the next day or two...they requested several statements detailing various things from how we met to our current living and employment situations. While I was in Egypt visiting him earlier this month we sat down and worked together on the statements, which I wrote out by hand . When I returned to the States, I typed them to save on the computer but also printed them out and they look very nice printed out. Here is my question, the handwritten statements are signed by both of us, not notarized as they were very specific on the items they wanted notarized, where as the typed versions do not have our signatures...so which would be best for me to submit or should I submit both?

I would submit the one's with signatures

I would submit both and staple them together, that way if anything that was hand written isn't legible they can read it typed.

I agree, sending in both with the typed one stapled on top of the handwritten sounds like the best option. Better safe than sorry, ya know? Best wishes!

Email the typed affidavit(s) to your SO to print and sign. Then, if needed use DHL/FedEx/etc to send them back for submission.
