dhl couldnt reach address

We found out today that the embassy requested our packet 3 to the embassy. When I tracked down the package at dhl.com it said that few days ago an attempt was made for delivery but the address couldn't be found. Does any body know what the embassy will be doing now?

We found out today that the embassy requested our packet 3 to the embassy. When I tracked down the package at dhl.com it said that few days ago an attempt was made for delivery but the address couldn't be found. Does any body know what the embassy will be doing now?

I would call the embassy and have them resend it and have DHL hold it at the office near your neighborhood that way you can be sure you can get it. I have had various packages delivered to me via DHL in Egypt and I always call them and tell them not to deliver it and to let me pick up,

I hope it works out.

pls be sure and paient when u post something regarding to the embassy cause your post mad us so depressed yesterday ,we thought that they will not reopen end of march as they hope that is why they darw back the package ,evryone is in stress, today i read your post and i understand its mistake in address , be paient next time when u post something we are in same damm situation ,have agood luck

The original post said nothing that could possibly make someone assume what you appear to have assumed. Please avoid blaming the original poster.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Yep definitely have them hold for pickup at your local DHL office. That's what we did and it worked perfectly!

02/07/11 MADE APPOINTMENTS FOR MEDICAL AND INTERVIEW. (Will post actual dates after they occur :) )

02/08/11 Left NVC

02/17/11 Medical

03/01/11 Interview (FH is in AP)

04/12/11 AP COMPLETED!!

04/13/11 FH notified to come to the embassy with his passport!

04/26/11 FH received Visa

04/29/11 FH Arrived in the US!!! JFK POE

06/08/11 MARRIED!

The embassy sent the packet to the wrong address for my fiance the first time. You need to call and be persistant with them and they will send out another. Confirm they have the correct address, also make sure the phone number is provided in case there are any issues DHL can call your fiance and find out exactly where she is.

07/06/10 - NOA2 - Approved!!!! :)

07/12/10 - Received NOA2 in the mail

07/13/10 - Received at NVC

07/16/10 - NVC changes embassy per our request

07/19/10 - Told we are in AP @ NVC

07/30/10 - Case sent to Cairo embassy

08/05/10 - Case received at embassy

09/07/10 - Received packet 3 - FINALLY!!!

09/15-10 - 2nd trip to Egypt, returned home on 10/5/10

12/14/10 - Received interview date

01/09/11 - 3rd trip to Egypt

01/12/11 - Interview - APPROVED!!!...but AP

01/24/11 - Returned to the states without my habibi :(

04/06/11 - AP was completed!! :)

05/10/11 - Visa has been issued!!!
