Hey, is this topic/question really offensive. I am just trying to get a feel for what people think. Please don’t get sensitized because I called out a gender. As you may know, both men and women falter and make mistakes in relationships. We're human. Since I’m a man… I started there.

So, how do men fall from grace or love in relationships and how can we avoid it?

A man cannot fall in love with a woman who is not already in love with herself. He can't fall in love with a woman because she is sexy, rich, a good executive or a good housekeeper. He can only fall in love with her level of virtue. A man projects a virtuous image on the woman he wants to marry. When a woman falls from grace and gives a man causal sex, in his mind, he thinks, "If I can get her that cheaply, other men will too".

You've got to know who you are before you can exchange what you've got. In every relationship, there can be only one respect leader and one cherished follower, at least in the beginning, until a commitment has been negotiated. Choose whether you want to be the giving/male or the receiving/female, regardless of your anatomy. Whatever you choose, have integrity.

Compromise, respect and genuine heartfelt love. If these are in place at the start of a relationship then simple maintenence should keep things sweet. I hope to remain Tracy's knight and I will put in the effort to that end. I'm sure she will always be my damsel.....

JUST MY THOUGHTS - TV depicts this shift from Mr. Wonder to oh shut the hell up with banter and humor. We laugh… It's funny... However the reality of this is less than amusing. Nowadays, it seems like older couples are divorcing more and more. Just sharing my thoughts… Again…
