I put his death in the same catagory as Dana Reeve. Someone that really never did anything,...................

If this statement wasn't so laughable it would be worth arguing with. I suggest you research who Steve Irwin was and all that he achieved. I know what Steve brought to the world and to Australia, (other than entertaining TV shows). Some of the things he did have been mentioned in this very thread so your research should begin right here.

Just as she was on the PC side of stem cell research, he was on the PC side of "Saving the Planet." Personally I couldn't careless is alligators are made into shoes and purses, but to all the tree huggers he was doing God's work. After watching the Larry King interview and finding out was going on in his head I wasn't impressed.

OH NO, NOT SAVING THE PLANET????!!!! How dare he.

Well your "Saving The Planet" is my meddling in commerce.

Steve Irwin made a lot of people a lot of money with his TV show.

He was commerce. He was also about education. Nothin' wrong with that.

Man is made by his belief. As he believes, so he is.

I was talking more about his behind the scence public policy involved activities. No problem with his show and teaching kind about animals, but Global Warming and anti whaling and fur trade stuff I have a problem with.

I think what one should ask is: would the world be a better place if half the world was like a person, and in Steve case the answer is definitely yes.

That is how you know he was a champion...

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.
