I'm also waiting for my passport (with visa in it).

Interview was July 22nd.... Estimate time is 3 weeks to a month, as I can understand from what I read.

It's kinda odd that they keep people passport for that long... considering it's the only travel document that you own...

Anyway, thank you everyone for your comments, really help going through the wait. I really thought I was done waiting....

This forum is the best to help fight anxiety!

I've read in other threads that in most cases, when they say they are trying to "adjudicate the case", it pretty much means that they collect all your biometrics info and do a thorough background check.

I am not sure how accurate that statement is. To me, if it were just that simple, it wouldn't take as long.

Finally VISA in hand!!!!!!! :) BEYOND happy.

congrats!!!

Hi F&B if you were approved at your interview on 7/22 it probably won't take that long. What is your current status on CEAC??

No. But since your interview was the 10th and mine the 22nd.... Guess I'll have to wait another week or maybe two.

My case was created on CEAC a week after my interview. So I guess you'll probably wait less than 2 weeks?
