So absolutely frustrated.

Received an email this morning from Montreal saying we had to return to the Consulate to do my finger prints.

It has been 5 freaking weeks since the interview, where the approval was given and we have been emailing them for over 3 weeks asking for updates and NOW they drop this on us! Now my husband and I need to either fly to montreal which will cost us over $2000 or drive 15 hours to Montreal to get there for an appointment that they scheduled with a days notice for us. My emotions are so overwhelmed with anger and frustration at this point. I can't count how many times I have had to fight back the tears, because at this point, tears are just wasted energy. They better issue the visa right then and there when we get there on Thursday. I hope no one else is having to go through this. Thanks for letting me vent.

WHAT WOW!!! That is outrageous. Not only have they imposed so much emotional and financial hardship on you by taking over 2 months to do this but now they want you to travel there! I am truly sorry. Hope you are able to find cheap tickets and you should definitely discuss your visa delivery once you are there.

Geez, this is getting ridiculous! Haven't you guys had the finger prints done already on the day of the interview? I am really really sorry to hear that :(

Yup, we did the fingerprints right there at our approved interview a long with our perfect police certificate. As we've said before, we have had a clean case from the beginning, never needing to submit extra info because we were super prepared and organized, so for this to happen is rather comical in a way, there is no words to describe it really.

Sorry to hear I&NS!

When were done our interview, the CO, told us he was still waiting biometrics to come back from USCIS, which it will only take two hours, to be precise. I wonder if they were still having issues with finger prints then? But nonetheless, is very frustrating.

In other news, our status update changed to todays date. But we received not email from them.

Sorry for squeezing in here but that is outrageous! Since you've already done them once, can you not ask them if you can get them redone locally and have them electronically transferred?

I'm sorry that this has happened to you. It's not even me and I'm furious! :girlwerewolf2xn: All the best on Thursday at the Consulate - I hope they deliver the visa to you on a silver platter.

After 76 days CEAC website showed Issued for me, on July 28 and tonight I received an email from Loomis. I am not sure if I have to wait 3 days and then I can pick it up, or I can pick it up tomorrow!

I contacted NVC today and got the standard response. She told me that I can contact the consulate and I said they would just give me a standard response. She paused for one second and said "anything else". So was completely useless experience. Another useless week.
