Nothing yet, unfortunately. Like I said, just the date change on last Friday. But, I am really hoping this week I hear something. We all are in this together, so let me know when you get yours for sure!

Hey, so I just read in a different forum someone said that CEAC updates on Tuesdays and Fridays, at 3pm ET... Could that be true??

Also, I found a website where they explain the meaning of each message on CEAC:

Probably not true about CEAC update on Tues/Fri. A lot of people have had updates other weekdays including myself.

Hi Guys

My CEAC status still says READY but the status update date is change for July 21, 2015 i hope its a good sign.

I hope it's a good sign for you but it would be pretty ridiculous if you get issued before all of us still waiting from the middle of June...

You did say you emailed them though, every time we have emailed them our date has updated. In fact it's the only time our date has changed...

Edited by l&ns

June 22: CR-1 Interview at Montreal Consulate = Approved

July 6: E-mailed Consulate as status has been 'Ready" since Interview with same date

July 7: Case Status as "Ready" and Date Updated

July 13: E-mailed, no update again

July 13: Case Status as "Ready" and Date Updated

July 24: E-mailed again, no update

July 24: Case Status as "Ready" and Date Updated

July 27: Date Updates by itself still "Ready"

July 28: Get Email from Montreal US Consulate requesting to go back and redo fingerprints

July 28: Drive halfway to Montreal

July 29: Get to Montreal

July 30 (8am): Redo fingerprints, consular officer apologizes for having us comeback for fingerprints, issues us the Visa on the spot

July 30 (3pm): VISA in HAND!

August 3: Florida move!

Hey everyone, sorry to butt in here! I'm trying to estimate rough time frames right now (to budget some expenses) and I'm stuck on the wait time between the approval at the interview and actually receiving the passports back from MTL. I'm seeing that many of you are waiting a lot longer than what you were told at the consulate. I had anticipated approximately 2 weeks, but given the glitch that happened last month I was trying to figure out a new, more realistic time frame. I was just wondering if there is any difference between the K-1and the IR-1/CR-1 turn around time or if I can base my predictions off of most peoples' unexpected delays that appear to be happening in this thread (i.e. several weeks)?

Anyone know any info on this? Or any K-1 filer who has had their interview in June/July already had their passports mailed out? I know AP can differ for everyone, I am just basing times off of a standard interview with an approval. Thanks in advance! (P.S. I am a K-1 filer).

P.P.S. I hope all of you awaiting your passports receive them really soon!

Is there anyone else from June, for the CR1, who was approved but still not issued? We are pretty discouraged at this point since we had a clean interview and approval. Our dates have only updated when I've emailed and gotten the same canned response back. There is some solace knowing a couple people were just issued last Saturday after a long wait as well but I was just wondering who else was left on here. We were told 2.5-3 weeks and we would have our visa in hand. It's one month to the day today (over 4 calendar weeks) and we aren't even issued yet. I thought about emailing again, but that doesn't seem to help in any way lol...
