I had my interview in Montreal on June 16th and it changed to AP yesterday. We can definitely understand the frustration with this process, it seems very random and involves a lot of luck as much as preparation. Looking at your timeline you are very lucky your application was sent to California. We applied on September 2nd 2014 but got stuck at the Texas service centre. We had no RFE's, no paperwork issues and we took the first available date for the interview and in the end we are only 2 weeks ahead of you. I'm sure there are people who have had a longer experience than us too. Once we finally get the visa in hand none of this waiting will matter too much anymore, but until then this process is quite frustrating.

I'm glad I found a thread specific to Montreal so I can at least see how others are doing. It seems like IR-1/CR-1 are being processed before K1 from what I see on here.

My interview was the day after yours, so this gives me hope that they will get to mine soon. I have to remind myself that we will all receive our visas eventually. It's just hard to be so close to the finish line and not be able to cross it. I keep reminding myself that I anticipated still being at the NVC stage at this point, so I shouldn't worry so much. I sometimes wish there was no way to check the status of my application online, like the good old days. A friend of mine went through this many years ago and says it was just a matter of "it will show up when it shows up." I think it might be less stressful not having a place to check on our applications every day...or hour...or minute. :-)

I agree, I think the closer you are to the end the harder it is to be patient! Just to update you my Visa turned to Issued about 10 min ago!

Just as an aside for this thread: I was moved to "Issued" on July 6th, but still have not received the waybill number in my email from Loomis.

If I don't receive it by Friday I think I will give my local Loomis outlet a call and see if it is in transit/sitting there but a waybill wasn't sent. Sifting through old threads from 2014, it looks as though some people actually received the waybill number email when their package arrived at it's final destination. Talk about weird!

Yeah mine was issued on July 2 and I don't have a waybill # yet. If I don't get one by Thursday evening I'm going to go to the location and give them a piece of my mind. Hoping I don't have to do that though!!!
