I finally got an email back from Montreal "please note your case is under review and we'll notify you with any updates"

Look on CEAC and nothing. Not since June 30th. And since I'm pretty positive if you don't see an update first thing in the morning you won't see an update...I'm assuming this is another let down day for me.

They can update at any time during normal business hours, most of my updates were between 12pm - 4pm.

I'm just furious at this point. I honestly emailed them for the main reason that they would update my case, and still. Crickets since June 30th. I had a perfect interview, I had no missing documents, I have a pretty unique name, I've never done anything criminal in my life let alone my adulthood. I should not be in administrative pending at all. I know it's laughable because it's only been a week, but the one thing that should have no problems is literally full of them. Even with this whole backlog, I finished my application an paid the fee by the first week of May. My biometric data should have been salvaged since it was over a month before this happened. Though I'm glad for them, it's disheartening to watch people with later interviews get their visa days later. I've done everything right and yet this is what happens :(

I wanna call the NVC but I feel like that would be a total waste of time

I am so so happy for you, and do not feel an inch of jealousy because you deserve this and have been waiting so long.

Enjoy this moment, and enjoy telling your fiance you're coming home.

I pray that I don't have to go through what you did, but I'm sure the 53 days are all a blur now.

nothing for me. I got issued same time as you. I checked Loomis website with the reference number. But my wifes email is the one used. Loomis told me last week they would email as soon as a waybill is generated. But i have heard sometimes this doesn't happen. Also none of the Loomis branches specifically the one we are waiting for in Saskatoon have a local phone number. Could this process be any more painful than a chinese torture technique by putting pins in somebody and waiting for them to bleed to death. I hope by the end of the day we hear something. My wife lives 2 hours from saskatoon and specificallly took off work on wednesday to drive a pick it up but at this point who knows.... Good luck to us...

Congratulations!!!!! Oh man I am so happy for you!!! :)

ok, so for those who got issued July 2nd. did any of you received the email from Loomis?

I tried ais-usvisa website but still no waybill #

Just so you know, Loomis is like Canada post, they only do pick ups at end of day, which means the processing and putting tracking numbers on packaging will only take place in the evening. Chances are you won't get a number till an evening. I'm hoping I get one tonight but we shall see. I plan on calling my loomis location tomorrow morning. They do have numbers, just google the loomis location.

Thanks to everyone for the kind wishes. I truly and utterly appreciate each and every one of them quite honestly.

I almost feel bad coming to post here that my status moved to Issued when so many others are still waiting. I know I shouldn't, but I know what it is like watching others receive theirs while yours is stuck in limbo.

I can only hope my case is an example of things to come this week for others. Whatever the wait time for those who are still waiting, I promise you I will be hoping and praying you guys get yours too!

I am very sorry to hear you are still waiting even after hitting the Issued phase. That sucks beyond belief, even moreso because Loomis does not have a local number for you to call.

Admittedly I am awaiting mine to be sent to a relatively small urban area, but even still, I had called in the past before just to make sure it wasn't sitting there and each time a worker kindly took a look for me and gave me the news.

I know for my Loomis branch they share office spaces with another shipping company. Upon looking up the address that was used on the consulate appointment website I found the other company name, called, and lo and behold it was indeed a Loomis contact number. Google Map check that address in Saskatoon to see if any other company is listed under it/provides a phone number.
