Hey guys,

I had my interview yesterday and by last night my status on CEAC showed as Issued and stated if you haven't received your visa in the next 5 days, please see here (with a link attached that doesn't work). I want to see how to track my package. Where do I find my waybill number? When I log into loomis it just shows me my basic information on there and no status or anything.

It doesn't appear in Loomis until the package (and thus waybill) is created at the consulate. I saw it in CEAC five business days after the interview when Loomis picked it up.

Any news of your passport?

Now shows the 'issued' 1 to 5 day statement. Hopefully I can pick it up Monday.

Do remember though, all my paperwork had to be processed at the embassy since I was an expedite (NVC didn't pre-screen the packages). So I was a bit slower (though it would have been nice to have it done and shipped by Wed since Loomis is closed sat and sun...).

Hopefully yours is quick and painless, 'cause no one needs more waiting around.... :D

I had forgotten about your expedite. Looks like you pay for the expedite in time, by having the consulate then take longer to finish up with your passport. No way to win it seems like. Thanks for clarifying.

True. I would only be case complete now (or checklisted) since all my docs went in Oct 3. On the other hand, I have already done this green-card thing once before. How hard can it be to fill in the intervening years....

Hello,

Our 601/212 was just approved November 26 (it took almost 8 months). The Montreal consulate has asked us to send the following via Markham DHL:

1.) Police records

2.) New Medical

3.) New Affidavit

4.) Passport

Because I'm sending all this information, would it take long to receive our visa? Also, what is the timeframe as of now for people to receive their passports back?

Thanks
