I have read a few others on here that got no notification at all..no tracking...and it showed up at the Loomis office in their city..they only found out because they called the office

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

Oh joyyy looks like I'm in the same boat as all of you! Had my interview last Wednesday (the 12th) and was approved. I was told 1-2 weeks from the lady at the window... well I've waited 1! Now to wait another before I start throwing a tantrum. heh. I want this sooo bad. I mean as long as I can be there for Christmas, it will be OK.

It sucks because we've all waited _so long_ for the moment when they tell us we're approved! And now we've gotten there, WE'RE WAITING SOME MORE!

Fingers crossed that our passports are returned this week! However, I was supposed to drive through Buffalo.. whomp whomp

Buffalo, good luck with that! I don't know about there but it's supposed to get to a high of 10C here over the weekend. SO hopefully that will get rid of all this nasty white stuff that keeps falling from the skies :(

Does your case say AP on the CEAC website? or READY or ISSUED? Trying to gauge how long of a wait I have since I'm reading AP... And have been for 2.5 days ....

God I hope we all just get our passports and can spend Christmas with our loved ones. this is the wooooorssst
