Interview in Montréal on 19 Jun. Received a call from Loomis that the Visa was ready for pickup 21 Jun.

We decided to take an extra day in Montréal to sightsee and the Visa actually beat us home!

I am a K1 Visa Applicant. I got a 221(g) at my interview on August 20th for something very simple that I just had to email in. I did so right away on August 20th. When I look at my status online it says AP and now I'm freaking out. How long will I be waiting?

I'm born in Canada, nothing irregular about our application.

My wife had the same thing on june 27th. I asked what would be the fastest way to get passport with visa. They said to leave passport with them and email them the bank statement they wanted. We emailed them on june 28th they sent an email on july 10th saying (Thank you for your email, the consular officer will review the documents that you have sent) we have still been waiting and her case as well shows AP online. I have read online that it can take up to 8 weeks for them to review stuff emailed in. Hope its fast for all of us waiting

any recent updates from newly approved people?

from when it said issued on ceac website to when it actually arrived via Loomis?

Here's my timeline (MTL)

Interview Date: Nov 7th

Tues, Nov 12th

CEAC changed to "Issued" (sometime between 2pm-5pm)

Wed, Nov 13th

Received an e-mail from Loomis at 10:30pm saying my Passport was picked up in Montreal

Upon checking the tracking info, it looks like it was picked up from the Consulate at 7:50pm, but left (for transit to London, ON) at 8:45pm

Thurs, Nov 14th

7:30am My passport arrives in London, ON

I haven't received it yet as I requested it be couriered to me (I live in Windsor). I received an e-mail saying they are 'overloaded' with requests of this sort... so I have not been contacted to provide payment/details as of yet.

Wait time:

4 business days from Interview

1.5 business day from ISSUED status on CEAC
