Interviewed the last week of May...still no passports returned so I phoned DOS 202-663-1225 (then 3) and the Visa stamp was inserted June 6th, so I guess the wait continues. Disappointed as I could have gone to a convention if it had arrived within 5 days.

I'm in the same boat. My interview was May 29th. Spoke to DOS, visa was issued June 5. Haven't heard anything yet. It's frustrating!

Here's hoping we both hear something very soon.

I was told the visa was approved then as well and since they are still sitting on someone's desk, it will probably be another week. This process inadvertently is teaching me patience. It has been a long time since last September and there is still a long way to go to see it all through. Wishing you good things/E

Had my interview on the 10th of Septemeber. Very much looking forward to getting my little hands on my passport again. I'm not sure about you, but I go a little nuts when I know it's - *gestures windly around the room* - out there somewhere. Even when it's only gone for renewal, it's like a piece of me is missing. So far it's been 3 full days since the interview, and I really would like to hear something soon so that my fiance and I can finally book our wedding!! How about everyone else, how long have you been waiting?

Visa was issued on Sept 17. Got notice this evening that it is finally with Loomis, so it should be in my hands on Monday -- 1 week, exactly, from issuance.

Hi there All,

For anyone waiting on their visa I have a bit of insight if it is stuck in a specific place on the Loomis/DHL tracking. On the Loomis tracking for my visa on Mon March 4, 2013 it said that my package left the Brampton, Ontario depot at 658am. I kept checking for two days and no updates. On Wed I thought to myself "that package should be there by now, it is only a 1hr 30mins drive from Brampton-Barrie, Ontario. I called the Loomis trace #18774525856 Ext.6332 to see what was going on with the package. They put a trace on it and I got that day saying that the package was ready for pickup. Went to Loomis this morning and it ends up that the scanner for undeliverables was broken. So if your package is stuck somewhere on the tracking for more than usual give it a day or 2 then call the trace # and see what is going on. I am sure this a rare occurence, but if I had not called the trace # I still would be waiting for the package. Overall great service by the courier company and excellent time getting the visa.
