I am thinking it's my passport I couriered that they are talking about. I don't understand how it would take 4 weeks to review an email. Then again I have been 2nd guessing myself throughout this whole dang process. Nothing would suprise me anymore. It makes me feel better to think they are talking about when I sent my passport.

I would assume they meant when the Docs were sent because they said mail not email...

That they've received the passport, that they are reviewing it, and they have not yet issued a visa. To be honest I've only called twice, because it hurts to hear, and I don't want to get crabby with the DOS rep. I've heard most people get notice from the shipping company rather than notice from Montreal, so I check the CSC site and Loomis everyday.

I do it all! lol I returned an email tonight to the congressman. Was just a privacy release form so he can check into it. I hope. We shall see if anything comes of it. Tomorrow is another day...here's to both of us hearing good news! As well as every single person on here waiting for news!

Alright, I'm giving it a go. On hold now...

( 8 Minutes Later )

She asked if he sent in his passport yet. I said yes, two weeks ago. She said, "Oh, it must still be under administrative review."

So that was pointless...

How come the last operator I spoke with knew that his passport had been sent/received, but this one didn't?

I honestly believe that not every operator enters notes after you call. It's highly frustrating I know. I have not yet called today. I wish I knew what Administrative Review was....lol.

It was the last operator who told me his passport was received, not me telling them.

DOS is closed today. Are they close on all Wednesdays?

They're just closed for an hour for lunch time or something on Wednesdays. Call back again in an hour; they'll be open.

I received an email! :dance::thumbs:

Good day,

Your immigrant visa was issued today and should soon be ready for pickup at the selected DHL/LOOMIS location.

If you have any questions regarding the courier service, you may contact CSC at 1.877.341.2441 or by email at contactus_en_CA@usvisa-info.com

I hope that this information may be useful.

Sincerely,

OP8

No waybill number at the DOS website or in my email. I guess I just wait some more for a phone call or another email?

Grats! kicking.gifkicking.gif

When I got my visa, I never received a phone call (though I've seen others get one). I received an email from DHL though.

You can get the waybill number by using your reference ID from CSC. Although, this might be different in your case as you went through AP and Montreal may have sent your passport back with a different number.
