I am not sure, I sent them an email on Sept 22nd and within 20 mins I got a reply and status got updated to reflecting date.

So I guess it's just the waiting game now.

@Lola800, I am not sure if this will help and you may have already done this.

In the subject line I put my nvc_number_name.

I know it's frustrating but not sure what more can be done.

@Tofek av been sending email to that same email address still not reply and no update. Hoping for the best

I've been sending my inquiry on the website, but no response either. It's been about 2-3 weeks since I've been trying to get a hold of them.

Hi everyone! I had my interview last July 27, 2016 and the officer told me that he doesn't need anymore documents from me but he gave me 221g form indicating that I needed to submit additional documents coming from my employer. He mentioned that once everything is received, he will then iasue my visa. All these requested documents were received last August 08, 2016 as per CEAC website. I sent them an email and filled up an inquiry form to follow up my case but I only got an automated response saying that It will take 8 weeks to review it. Now, it has passed 8 weeks since they have received the documents. How long this usually take? I joined this forum to share my experience and somehow vent my emotions, because the wait is killing me...

@ronnie I can imagine, i don't know why they don't response to emails and that is the most annoying part.

We should be hoping for the best next week, I only they don't have any technical issues this time.
