Oh! by the way... can anybody tell me if there's any other fee that we need to pay?

Thanks again!!!!!

The immigrant fee..you should have a instruction once he receives his passport, I think it was like $140. Pay it now, so your husband get the green card faster.

New immigrant fee - $165 paid on ELIS website located on the USCIS website. Green card will not be printed until its paid.

Don't forget to write down the IOE # in case you haven't heard from USCIS

Also he gets 6 months to enter the country..but I was advised before the sooner the better

Hi everyone, I am just wondering if anyone here has recently either gotten any response from the e-mail you sent (IV email at the Montreal consulate) or the visa was approved and received your passport in the past month or so?

I've been waiting for a month now, and seems like nothing has been processed... and I have to fly to USA in 3 weeks...

I am extremely frustrated, because the officer who interviewed us said that I should be receiving my visa within 4 weeks.... :clock:

Have you tried contacting your congressman?

Congrats! That's wonderful! Just a question, did you have to update your DS-160 application after one year? My fiancé called DOS, and they said the DS-160 may expire after one year.

My medical expired as well, so we are in the process of arranging everything to send into them. Hopefully our visa will get issued quickly after the new documents get delivered.

Yes, we had to complete e new application, they only asked for the confirmation page, The process was really easy to complete because in our case (the form is DS-260 for immigrant) all the information was in the system, I entered with the original user and password, input the new info, save it and at the end we just printed the new confirmation page (the aplication number remains the same) and sent it with the medical and police record
Hope yours is Issued soon!! :)(L)
