Hi everyone, I am just wondering if anyone here has recently either gotten any response from the e-mail you sent (IV email at the Montreal consulate) or the visa was approved and received your passport in the past month or so?

I've been waiting for a month now, and seems like nothing has been processed... and I have to fly to USA in 3 weeks...

I am extremely frustrated, because the officer who interviewed us said that I should be receiving my visa within 4 weeks.... :clock:

I think "4 weeks" is the common message that all applicants receiving from consulate. But what in reality is that I'm still waiting for six months. Although consulate asked for my passport after 4m AP, they returned it attached with a paper that I need to wait for further AP.

It differs from case to case. As you see in this forum, there are some applicants thst received their visa after one or two weeks.

Hi LetsGoToUs, I'm just curious if you were requested to send an additional document after the interview? I'm just so surprised that they could put one in AP for over 8 weeks, now I'm getting very nervous. During the interview, They requested for me to mail my passport along with the additional document needed then my visa will be processed. I was just wondering if that's what you were told or if your case is similar to mine

Btw I've been in AP for exactly 6 weeks today. I have not received any replies to my emails to Montreal from 2 weeks ago, no updates nothing. *sigh*

Yeah, I am worried because they are not even responding to their email system, which is the only way of contacting them...

I emailed to request my passport in case my visa won't be ready on time, no response....

Is there any other way to contact them to request my passport temporarily? :crying:

I don't think so... I sent the e-mail on the 18th, and my status was updated on the 20th... Maybe that's when they opened my e-mail?... I am not sure.

I am going to try emailing them again... Please keep me updated on your status and reply if you ever receive it!!!

Fingers crossed for us!
