Hi kavi:

MTL is very unpredictable.... if you buy the ticket just make sure you are allowed to do changes. I've seen all kind of situations here. :-)

Congratulations!! :-))

Thanks Idy...I'm only going to buy my ticket after I get my tracking info! Montreal is so weird...I sent an email today morning and I saw that my status update date changed but they didn't reply...I am thinking they probably checked it and saw that I am going to get issued today or monday and didn't bother responding..not sure if I am being too optimistic right now.

End of business day #2...i'm getting antsy! I really hope I don't get stuck on ready...most people seem to get issued between 1-4 business days =(

Don't worry...its on the way to being issued...they 'ignored' my last email too so its all good....just make sure your flight allows changes but your time is soon :) Giddy up!

My IV sticker/passport and packet is available to pick up at my local post office in Vancouver. So that's 1 week from the interview last week.

Now I just need to get a work contract lined up back in California and I'm good to go.

so...I am a little confused...according to CEAC my status has not been changed since April 11th (Yesterday) to Issued (AP)...I haven't seen a status change all day but when I called NVC they said that my visa has been printed today and everything is ready to go...I am not sure why Montreal hasn't changed my status yet..has this ever happened to anyone? Can I expect my tracking number/ an email soon from Montreal?
