Well I finally got the DHL email last night. I thought we would never get it. Almost a full month after the interview. 18 business days. They printed it 14 business days ago according to DOS. I put in a Congressional on Monday and they got right on it. I don't know what the hold up was except I know that the Consulate in Montreal is extremely backed up right now. Congratulations to all who have made it this far and good luck and patience to those who are waiting.

Congratulations!!!kicking.gif

we're still waiting.....wacko.gifsad.gif....it's been 15 business days..... I think we're the only ones left here from the 25th interview date that's not gotten a visa....sad.gif

patience IS a virtue...right???....blush.gif.....I have to keep repeating that to myself.....

Saying my POE went well is an understatement. I wrote a full review under "Toronto" section of the POE reviews here : http://www.visajourney.com/reviews/poereviews.php?poe=Toronto

Hope this helps!

20 business days and still nothing.......I called DOS again this morning and was told it was still being processed even though back on June 2 Montreal sent us an email saying it would be issued on June 20th.....and of course DOS tells me they don't have a record of us being told that so we have to deal with Montreal regarding why it wasn't issued when we were told it would be......

I'm not sure what I feel like doing more.... screaming or crying......

I feel like a spoiled child right now....*sigh* crying.gif

I'm so happy for the people who have gotten their visas within a reasonable time frame... but people who haven't interviewed yet need to know you can't always assume anything with this process, not every visa is processed the same and some seem to take MUCH longer with no known explanation ....so like so many here have said... do NOT make any plans until the visa is in hand!!

I'm really wondering if I need to find a congressman to contact at this point... I'm trying so hard to be patient... but our interview was back on May 25th.... I just don't understand....sad.gif

I'm getting even more stressed because the holidays coming next week are going to put Montreal even further behind.....

sorry.. I just really needed to vent.....wacko.gif

I don't know why they are putting you through this and I don't have the answer as to who you should speak to, but I would still like to give you a **Hug**
