Another business day and no update...it's been two weeks since I submitted my additional documents. Hoping for some good news next week...at this point I am living out of a suitcase and anxiously waiting to join my husband.

We are starting to panic too... This process is unbelievably frustrating.

Interview on March 9.

Rushed back to Toronto to get missing document, and mailed out the same day.

Received off site March 10.

Processed in their system March 14.

Still in AP as of March 30!

The interviewer told my fiancé that everything was good to go and that once they received the missing document that it would be 2 days... (we only had the divorce order, not certificate, so it was nothing too major)

I can't believe we are still waiting and they won't give us any update as to what is going on :( All they say is "please allow up to 8 weeks..."

This is torture! I just want him down here with me!

I hear you...I'm not sure why they are so slow with processing people with missing paperwork...based on reviews I've read here...looks like the average is about 3-4 weeks!

My husband has been in almost constant contact with his state senators local office, and the lady working there says she's been trying to call and put pressure on my case almost daily but they're so behind and busy they're barely returning her calls. Really frustrating

It truly is...my husband contacted our congressman and he said his contact said there is nothing he can do...I have to wait until April 21st to follow up again. I just don't understand...if there is a constant backlog they need to make some serious changes to improve efficiency.

Based on what I have seen online in this forum...anytime people send in documents, there seems to be atleast a 3 week wait.
