I'll know by Friday. My case is a little different from yours because I'm a CR1 but it seems they are messing up a few legit applications either way.

I pray that you don't have to wait too long though.

good luck!

I just got an email from the consulate this morning, now they want a new medical exam, a new police clearance and my husbands 2015 w2. God this is never going to end....

I'm wondering if I should ask my husband to scan or send me his W2. I have one more day but things are looking grim. The correspondence unit sent me the exact same reply they sent yesterday.

I've been waiting for them to finally tell me I need a new medical and police check so I was surprised they wanted the new w2 but I'm assuming they want everything up to date. I guess it couldn't hurt to send your husbands?

I am wondering if either of you have heard of scenarios that have progressed better than yours? PriyaB you mentioned that yours was a bad example. Are there good examples out there? Haha

Hi Lynmthomas:

Try to send everything as soon as possible, it might take 6 to 8 weeks to review it once they received it.
My case, they don't even touch it unless I send an email, (or at least they never post an update)... waiting since May/2015

Hi Priya!

it looks like they are not going to settle for what the officer told you about being Ready before the 14. Do you know how long it might take to get your passport back? (I'm thinking about your trip in March)

I'll be sending an email tomorrow. It will take a little over a week. My vacation is on March 4th...in three weeks so I should get it in time.

Priya, I think you should get the police certificate..I mentioned to you, that it will come to this. By the time you request the report, it takes 1-2 weeks to receive it.

Just go ahead, spend the money its worth it.. rather than waiting. Its going to expire no matter what.

Mine expired on October 2015, and when consulate received my approval notices.. they email me asked to send a new one on Nov 23, 2015

I was supposed to share my experience at the POE, its been 3 years since I left US..I have been fuzzy and adjusting to the new environment...

I will get the police check done next week.

I honestly just didn't expect them to lie to my face. The agent at the consulate actually told me that there would be no more problems and it would be done. Ah well. I am not really in a rush anymore tbh. I've said it in previous posts but since I can't go right now, I will just wait until my two year anniversary in May to leave. I hope that everything will be okay by then...I can not think of any reason why it wouldn't. I've already had a second interview where they asked me nonsense. I can't even imagine what they would be looking for now.

Interview was January 11th. Was informed that we needed a joint sponsor so sent in the form and it was delivered to Montreal Youville address on January 20th. Emailed consulate for a status update on February 9th. Received reply within a few hours stating "we received the documents on January 26th, 2016. We ask that applicants allow for 8 weeks of processing time from the day we receive the documents at post."

We were hoping to go South for the Family Day Weekend but since my husband doesn't have his passport we are unable.

Hoping for an issue very soon just for the peace of mind that all is good.
