Hey everyone,

just thought I'd post, feeling a little discouraged. But first off, So happy for everyone who is seeing "issued".

I had my interview in Montreal on Dec 1 and was approved. Since then my CEAC status has changed as follows

Dec 3 - Ready, check back in 2 business days

Dec 4 - Administrative processing

Dec 7 was the last update. I know that I am still well within the 14 business days time frame, but seeing people who have had interviews after me get approvals is worrying me a little. Does anyone know if at this point, even though I was approved at my interview, the decision could be changed? or that they might ask me to send more documents? Is there any one I can chase up with at the consulate who might have some answers for me? Any help/advice/encouragement is appreciated!

There probably isn't anything to worry about. When you check your status, is it still immigrant or has it switched to non-immigrant? Usually non-immigrant means it is getting closer to being issued :)

ahh thanks for the reassurance. Yes it changed to non-immigrant last week. Is there any departments (consulate or DoS) to check the status in more detail?

dyllic420, Stacky,

Congrats both of you!!

JennNMike,

You mean at https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-ca/iv- Follow-Up Documents box

Should I copy and paste the email the consulate sent me, asking me to send my documents? would it trigger the status update again?

I went in today and clicked on the link. I typed in the box that they requested me to send her passport and I did, and had confirmation it was received on the 25. Then it took me to a page basically giving me the courier return info. So I think it is not important for us since we have already sent the documents in. Maybe it was just an alternate way to get the courier info.

Mine was updated today, Dec 9, I wonder what it was.. but still shows Refused

No, I don't think so. I think the CEAC website is as good as it gets. Don't worry, you will have it very soon!

It didn't seem to trigger any update. I don't think it does anything to be honest, other than give us the courier information. Mine still says:

Status "Send Documents"

Even though they were received the 25. So I think it is pointless. Still waiting on an email back from the consulate I sent two days ago.

Every day is torture!

Mine has been stuck in AP and my daughters in READY since the 16 of November. Neither have changed, not even once. I guess every one is different.

When were your documents received?

Dec 3 - Received by Offsite Facility

Dec 7 - Consulate says hasn't received

Status Updated triggered on Dec 7,8,9

I know its frustrating waiting, without knowing if they physically had my documents. I had to sleep early so I can stop thinking and even when I wake up I still cant stop thinking it about it.
