Do not worry, like you... I was really nervous... but i do not think they deny immigrant visa unless really necessary... i saw a lot of people without complete paperwork and stuff and they just ask them to come back and still they were approve... I think our consuls are not as scary as other embassy consuls... Goodluck!

My stepdaughter recently had her IR-2 visa. My wife (her mother) and I attended the interview as well. During the prescreening, they requested another completed DS-230 form. Fortunately, since I have OCD, I had copies of EVERYTHING. Remember that the CO can request any document (especially NSO documents, if they are more than 6 months old). IMHO, I would suggest you carry a set of original NSO documents. It's not required, but it sure adds a sense of security.

The interview questions focused more on me, the petitioner. What do you do for a living? When and where did you meet your spouse? How long have you been together? Have you been married before? Any children? As long as all your answers match the information in the documents, you should be just fine.

Good luck with your interview! Keep us posted!

If u been married to ur petitioner that long,,then u have nothing to worry. All the questions are basically about u and ur petitioner and ur relationship.

Make sure u know about ur hubby esp.dates. They will ask u when did u meet? how did u meet? what's his job? any kids? etc. etc.it's really basic and the most important thing is be honest. Answer only questions that are asked..no more no less.

Good luck..u will be fine.

Aiz,

happyblessedme is ryt you don't have to worry.... If you feel worried and nervous it will show when consul start asking you questions and even you know the answer you can't talk properly because your so nervous.

I'm just waiting for my INTERVIEW DATES, but while waiting for that I keep on browsing & searching for those people who went to their INTERVIEW and from their Experienced I learned a lot. VJ really helps a lot for all of US!!!

JUST ALWAYS WEAR A SMILE,BE POSITIVE,HONEST AND BRING ALL THE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS NEEDED AND EVERYTHING WILL BE OK.....

Most of the people said that INTERVIEW was just for FORMALITY sake..... USCIS,NVC and the US EMBASSY IN MANILA already know everything about you and your hubby through all the Documents you send from USCIS to NVC. INTERVIEW was just for confirmation of everything. As i have notice to all the INTERVIEW EXPERIENCED i've read here in VJ most the CONSUL QUESTIONS is answerable by YES or NO. IMPORTANT DATES FOR BOTH OF YOU LIKE WEDDING,BIRTHDATE when did you've met. If you have any children. EVIDENCE OF FINANCIAL SUPPORT. PICTURE TOGETHER.

GOODLUCK AND MAY OUR ALMIGHTY GOD AND HIS MINISTERING SPIRIT GUIDE YOU AND BLESS YOU ALWAYS.....

heavenly star=)
