I looked at the example form that they have here but I am not sure what to put for line 11 ("I intend/do not intend to make specific contributions"). They didn't check either box but it seems you would have to check one. Would it be "do not intend?" Also, in item 7 where it asks for salary information, do we write our current bank account balance under our salary?"

For #11, like the example form says, you leave the check box blank and write N/A (K1 visa process for permanent residence).

For #7, yes, I believe you write it on the second line.

Before Journey:

Met online in 2002 as friends. Fell in love in 2005. Got engaged in 2010.

K-1 Journey, January 2010-July 2010:

NOA1: January 29. RFE: April 21. NOA2: June 4. Interview: July 15. Visa in hand: July 20. POE: July 22.

July 24, 2010: Married in front of 150 of our loved ones on a beautiful, sunny day. Living happily ever after and oh so thankful that 5 years of a long distance relationship and 7 months of a visa process is condensed into one line.

Adjustment of Status Journey, January 2011-March 2011:

January 25: NOA1 for AOS and EAD. Feb 5: Bio appointment received. Feb 7: RFE. Feb 11: Sent RFE response. Feb 23: AOS transfered to CSC. Feb 25: Biometrics. March 11: EAD approved! March 19: Received EAD. March 21: AOS approved! March 25: GC in hand!

And we'll live happily ever after.. for the next 2 years, anyway.

There is no "our" salary or bank account balance on the I-134. It is an affidavit submitted by one individual, so reflect that individual's income. If the income itself is sufficient, you can leave the asset related questions blank. If you answer any asset questions, you must provide documents as evidence of your claim.

I don't think it really matters. You can just leave it blank.

In good humor, what part of "you can leave the asset related questions blank" are you having trouble understanding?good.gif
