Awww soounds good...congrats! I would be dancing in the rain! lol

I am going with my hubby to his interview...is it okay that I just show my passport and go in with him? Or the guard will create a problem.

:rofl: I was too tired from a lack of sleep to dance. Plus I brought more than I needed for the interview so I was hauling around 10 lbs of paper. Unfortunately I don't have my P4 letter with me at work, but there is a section (near the end of the letter) about who is allowed to accompany you at your interview. A passport is accepted as ID.

"herding" is the right word for it! It was a bit of a gong show... I was wearing a blue rain coat, but I was trying really hard to not lose it so I didn't really chat with anyone.

I think I did see you. Did you go to the Notre Dame after the interview? I think I saw you there as well. I was the short Asian girl with a grey wool sweater and purple scarf.

June 2003 - Met online

July 2004 - Met in person (in Texas), then travelled back and forth for the next couple of years

June 7, 2010 - Fiancee sent off I-129F

June 23, 2010 - Application received by USCIS and routed to the California Service Center for processing (NOA1)

November 2, 2010 - Received NOA2

November 29, 2010 - Received Packet 3 from Montreal Consulate (P3 was dated Nov. 19)

December 6, 2010 - Sent Packet 3 (via XpressPost Canada)

December 20, 2010 - Received Packet 4 from Montreal Consulate (P4 was dated Dec. 14)

March 28, 2011 - Medical Examination in Toronto (Results ready on March 30 at noon)

April, 13, 2011 - Interview at Montreal Consulate *APPROVED*

April 20, 2011 - Received DHL waybill number & picked up Visa at DHL Markham

June 6, 2011 - POE at Toronto Pearson Airport

June 20, 2011 - Wedding

Aahh, you got a ticket number in the high teens, yes? At Notre Dame, I said to my friend "that girl was at the interview too... ... I think..." Well, hello! And congratulations!!

April, 2009 - We met

May, 2009 - We wooed

June, 2010 - We got engaged, looking forward to a small August 2010 wedding

**5 months of patient waiting**

December 29, 2011 - call around for information about delay

January 5, 2011 - RFE notice (first online status update yet!)

January 10, 2011 - RFE Hardcopy

January 13, 2011 - RFE Response acknowledged

January 24, 2011 - NOA2 (at last!!)

February 3, 2011 - application sent from NVC to Montreal (aka. the Abyss?)

March 7, 2011 - Packet 3 sent to me

March 10, 2011 - Packet 3 delivered to Montreal

March 21, 2011 - Packet 4 sent to me

April 5, 2011 - Medical

April 13, 2011 - Interview - approved!

April 20, 2011 - visa in hand

May 9, 2011 - POE (Buffalo, NY)

May 10, 2011 - wedding :)

:lol: That's hilarious. I said the same thing to my sister at Notre Dame. I was in the high tens. Congrats as well! Now we play the waiting game for our Visas to arrive.
