I-134 Question: Multiple Employers

Hey. I am filling out my I-134 and getting all of the documentation together. My question is that I have multiple employers (5) who I work for on an "all call" basis throughout the year. My cumulative wages are well over the poverty line...but I was wondering what is the best way to fill out this form ? They only give you one field for your employer. Should I put the one I work for the most, my average yearly wages (about $15,000 for them) and then just include my W2s for all my other employers proving that I make over the poverty line ($29,000 cumulative for last year).

Or should I write something like: "see attachment" and then outline all of my employers and yearly wages ?

Any suggestions ?

I would put an attachment and a breakdown of your work with various employers. The taxes and W2's will be useful. Also letters from each major employer stating how much you work on average for them would be good too.

Yeah, I agree with the last poster - I would put "see attachment" on the form and recap all the employer information on the attachment. If you list one of the employers with only $15,000 and then put see attachment, they might not look at it and make an assumption you don't want them making. I think I would also sign and date the bottom of the attachment, the same way you sign the I-134, just for overkill. Good luck with your journey.

That or, just indicate multiple employers and an occupation. For example, an RN indicating on call work for multiple hospitals will be clearly understood on both the G325a and later on the I-134.

moving thread to:

US Embassy and Consulate Discussion

This is the place to post your experiences or questions related to this last step before moving to the US. Topics relating to I-134's, packets sent from consulate and medical & police certificates should be posted here.

YMMV

Payxiba, I am confused. How is this question related to the last step before moving? They haven't had their interview yet and been approved for moving to the U.S, have they? But I admit, I am confused by the process and am going one step at a time. The reason I ask is because I am about to assemble my packet with the Affidavit of Support and may have some questions to post.

The I-134 is part of the interview which is effectively the last thing you do before you are approved.

More to the point, the I-134 is handed over at the Consulate so it is part of the Embassy and Consulate discussion topic.

I am not sure why you keep quoting me and saying the exact same thing I did as though you are disagreeing?

Perhaps because I'm doing neither. Quoting comes automatically when I reply to a post. I didn't say the exact same thing. I said something different but in clarification, not disagreement.

Sorry if this confused anyone. I'm just trying to get everything organized now, because I'm afraid that stuff might sneak up on me. I know that the affidavit of support is turned over at the interview. But, I'm just nervous about the time line. It seems like some people's papers move really fast and others slower. Plus, it can take a while to mail documents to Cuba because I usually rely on other people to hand deliver important paperwork since USPS, DHL, Fed Ex etc... don't deliver or are unreliable to Cuba.

Anyway...thanks for everyone's advice.
