My fiance called the 1800 number today since its been 167 days since our NOA1. They said that's it's still within the processing estimate and that they couldn't do anything about it (file a complaint, etc.) for another 34 days.

Assuming theyre not counting today that would make the wait 200 days total. I'm thinking "What?!" I read here in the forums maybe last week that they might push the processing window from 5 to 6 months but thats way over 6 months. It's actually 10 days shy of hitting the 7 month mark. He called again after a couple hours and another person told him the same and that it was in the system as having 34 days left. Can someone tell me if they have heard the same from them, because i cannot accept that 200 days is the new processing time. This is unbelievable.

We are a few days over 6 months and were able to put a service request in just recently by calling and calling until someone nice finally did it for us. It seems like 6 months is the norm now. You have to stay positive because your NOA2 is coming soon! I havent seen many people who have to wait long over 6 months. Stay strong.

where are you getting your math from? youre like half a month shy of your 6 month mark as of your NOA 1. you go by the date of the NOA1, not when you sent it. Regardless of that, I agree that their processing rates are unacceptable.

Ah you're right, it's only been 161 days, just used one of those day calculator things. 161+ 34 = 195 days (roughly 6 months and a half). I meant that 200 days is 10 days shy of 7 months, but regardless, i was reading around and it seems like a few other people have gotten similar numbers *sigh*.

I was checking some timelines, and by my math the avarage is 185 days now. Except the lucky people that got their NOA2 before even reach or after they reached the 5 months mark.

Ahhhhh I get what you were saying now. Yeah the hotline date is only updated once a month, so I purposefully called the day they changed it, wrote down the name and badge number of who I talked to, and that she said I should call back in 17 days. So this Thursday they'll be hearing from me. Unfortunately, they seem to be getting farther and farther behind each month. I would definitely recommend calling on April 14th and writing everything down like I did so you can quote them on it. Good luck!

Sorry VSC is taking soo long. good news is it goes faster after u get NOA2! also, Mexico is changing process for K-1s and it is a mess with a lot of kinks to workout so on a positive note, by the time its your turn it should be smooth sailing.
