From the I-129F instructions:

D. If either you or your fiancé(e) were married before, give copies of documents showing that each prior marriage was legally terminated.

Seems pretty clear that you need ALL Divorce Decrees.

Tell your friend its probably better that he doesnt get married. When you get divorced that many times it just shows one has no committment to their significant other and no honor at all as they make their vow to God that they will love and stay together for better or for worse. I mean...why get married at all and go thru this...Im sure there are plenty of american girls he can marry and get divorced to later.

thats not true. just because, youve been divorced 3 times dont make you the kind of

person that is not committed to their past relations. situations happen things beyond

control can happen. it shows this person belives in committment enough not to let the past

hold him down from being open to being loved once again. I have been divorced 3 times.

it was the pain from it and the experiance from it -that gave me my Bingo.

Marriage is not about love...its about committment. You can fall in and out of love. This is why america has a 60% divorce rate because people get married just because they are in love. They are not committed. Committment lasts longer than love.

Love does not sustain committment...committment sustains love. If you & your spouse just remember this statement once a day, your marriage will last until death do you part, just like you said in your wedding vows.....all 3 times.

Whether true or not, that is not what the OP was asking.

Why not focus on the Immigration related questions, while refraining from personal opinion on multiple divorces.
