Hi vj's, I have my interview this tuesday, and on my invitation says to bring aproved I-130 (which i have) and also all original documents or certified copies that I send when I aplied for the I-130. That really puzzles me, cuz first of all we had a lawyer at the time, so he sent the stuff and second.....why? plus that all that happened almoust 3 years ago. hmmm...

have any of you heard of anything like this?

Your lawyer should have sent copies of originals (for evidence) and given you back the originals. Plus he should have made a copy of EVERYTHING and given it to you. You never know what they will ask for at the interview.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

The IO will ask for origianl documents sent with applications to verifythe copies we sent in with our applications . The IO we had just ask for our origianl passports, BC, Marriage certifiacte, social securiy cards (we both had them) and origianl copies of supporting documents to prove we were living together ( they kept copies of our joint health and car ins., purchase of new car and apt. lease) I think you will be fine if you bring origianl documents of all ID and supporting evidence. I have a list prepared for our interview (if you are interested I can post it.) I had our documents color coded, tabbed in a binder and made an additonal copy for USCIS to keep.

I wish you the best of luck! :)

Thanks for the info. I was thinking of G-325's or something old and weird like this that's gotta be the original thing and we have to show again. Marriage certificate and all legal stuff sure we have. Got tons of joint stuff and even home title together. All put nice in binders with little notes. And lots of pics...

I shouldn't be nervous at all, but that's me...
