Hi

i filed for my spouse I-130.his address was of pakistan when i filed because he was there at that time for 3 months. now he is in ireland as a student and I-130 is still pending. should i change his address ? what can i do to have his interview in ireland instead of pakistan?

hmmmm you can call uscis now or do it when the case gets to the NVC.

the only thing comes into my mind is that i filed as a LPR and i will file for citizenship in FEB- 2011 so this case will take time.

now he renew his student visa every year september.

1) GODFORBIDS what if after forwarding case to ireland, he dont have any more student visa there and he is not in ireland ? what will happen?

2) can he have his interview in ireland even though he is STUDENT there from last 4 years? BEFORE some on here on VJ told he is not considered resident so he cant have interview there.

can i file I-824 now my I-130 is still pending not approved.

no the AR11 are used to change the alien's address who lives in the USA so that would not apply.

no you can't file the I-824.. because the application was not approved.

me must meed the residency requirement in Ireland for the interview to take place. if he moved within the EU then there should be no problem. if not then the interview will be conducted in his home country.
