Greetings all and I hope everyone's cases move quickly as possible through this painful process.

I was bored today so I went on to the NVC payment portal and tried to login. My case is already closed (per NVC operator and the AVR) so I was assuming i'd still have a SIF (Sign in failure) to my surprise i was able to login. I immediately called the AVR and was still getting case closed status. I thought about talking to the operator, but I'm getting sick of the 2nd week of the month script these guys go through. I think i can recite it word for word now :)

Any thoughts? Should I be worried? Could this mean they are actually starting to process stuff and get me an interview date?

The site and the AVRS aren't always synchronized. One may say apples, another may say orange. In this situations, the best thing to do is two speak to alive operator on two different occasions. If they both say apples, then it is indeed apples. And if they say if it's oranges, then it's oranges. And if one says apple and another says oranges, then you're just plain out of luck. You gotta call again.

So basically, don't worry. Your case is closed. Now you need to keep checking DHL site to see if you can figure-out when your package leaves the NVC and arrives at your respective embassy. Read the guides here to learn about how to track on DHL site. Good luck. InshaAllah.
