485 notification/'touches'

Hi all - having a brain blip here...was surprised to receive my case transfer notification in the mail without any 'touching' (ha ha, that always makes me laugh, easily amused), other than the initial NOAs and the bio appt.

In any case...I just assumed because I'd signed up for email notification that's how i'd be notified of any activity/that would be considered a 'touch' but now I'm wondering if i should be logging onto the uscis acct we set up when we filed for the K-1 (I tried to but it won't accept our username nor pwd). I did enter my receipt # but it just gave a very generic 'your case is being processed' message.

When you have a sec., thanks, B

i had the emails txts enabled since my k1, but when it came to AOS i had to recheck them off and save my preferences. and watch out lol if you pay for txts. i got 2 for every notification like 6 in one day. i think even Colleens got like 9 one day..and i had to pay for them lol.

in our experience the updates on the uscis website are either completely wrong or late. we received emails when we received an rfe, when we were transferred to csc, and then a onslaught of emails when each (AOS/EAD/AP) were approved.

right now the uscis website for all three (AOS/EAD/AP) are wrong - the ap still shows as being under initial review/

email notifications only, checking the website is pointless : )

Alrighty then. Guess I'll just wait for whatever they send me - emails, texts, mail, whatever - and take it from there. Nice that it's so arbitrary isn't it? lol

Thanks guys!
