In case like yours I would focus more on proving to Co that you and your wife are not planning to stay in US, rather you are just interested in visiting US and then live and work somewhere else.

The only reason they would reject case like yours is coz person married to USC would enter US on tourist visa and then file for AOS which is going around the system.

Your case you will have to show enough evidence that your wife and you are just visiting, you have established residence in some other country, you and her have jobs in other country, etc.
