we all know how hard it can be to wait. i know because i've sent mine in the middle of november...

instead of having people post things like "what can i do to speed things up?!" or "how much longer?" we should have the people that HAVE had their NOA2s approved RECENTLY tell us how long it took. i think if the people that got their NOA2 post regularly in some pinned thread, people awaiting their NOA2s can look briefly through the latest posts to have an estimate as to when he/she can expect it.

i think the only way to get a good idea as to how long it will take for you to get an NOA2 is to see how others have been doing. and when i say others, i mean those that turned their I-129F petition slighty before you did. mentioning where it's located (e.g. California Service Center)

it's just a thought. not sure if there is a better way to ease the pain of waiting. i just know something like this would help me.

cool. so maybe if we could find some people that got their NOA2 recently to post here, both you and i can at least have an estimate. :help: CALLING ALL RECENT NOA2 GETTERS... PLEASE POST. :help:

But you already have that information available through Igor's list: you can see the list of pepople who got their NOA2s recently. According to those, the wait is longer and longer: we filed late October and I don't even anticipate hearing about our NOA2 until May, possibly even June. Waiting is frustrating on its own but even more so if they keep extending the time for the peitions to get reviewed. Hang in there guys, we will all get it eventually, just need to be prepared for a much longer wait than anticipated.

Yes, we have igor's list. And we also have the national processing trends. I say expect htings on March to take off. Or at least maybe start getting better. A lot of October has been done. Instead of complaining how long it is taking, start writing your congressman, your senators. But do not write once. write weekly or daily. Keep them knowing another letter is coming from you. Don't stop advocating for the rest of us waiting after you get approvals. This is where the USCIS is enjoying this 1%. Many of us do not repeat. Nor are we a vast majority. If everyone starts "barking" about how bad they are treating the 1% who are "family" imagine how much "noise" will be created. I am also looking at contacting ACLU and other organizations. The longer I wait, the more "noise" I make. The government has enjoyed this group being a high turnover group as well as a low volume group. However, it is the family group. It is time to bring hte pressure of "family" to bear.

K-1 Visa Timeline:

You just filed in February and are already agitating to speed things up? How will you feel after a few more months? Some get approved quickly, but the majority have something of a wait. It might be a little early to get so up in arms. Just be thankful you are not going through the Vermont Service Center.

No worries, these are normal feelings. Everyone is different. Some have more patience than others, while others have more eagerness than others.

Along with Igor's List you can also go to your Portal where you will see timelines and interviews scheduled from others from your country.

Our NOA1 was September 21. Last Monday was 6 months. We both keep hoping it will be any day now but who knows. The waiting is beginning to grind on both of us.

And don't forget this page which was made by a member here. It shows the big picture on a very readable graph so you see the fraction of approved, RFE, and waiting for each month. You can also see the detail for each user on the graph by moving the mouse over it.

This has been posted here many times but I get the feeling that people here don't quite realize how effective it is for capturing all the data.
