Hi Everyone!!

I just called NSO for my certificate of no marriage. I would just like to ask what I would put in the purpose? I told the lady to put "for K-1 visa purposes". Is that correct? Or should it be "for travel abroad purposes". Thanks everyone for your help. :)

K1, Visa, Personal, etc.

Don't be so quick to tell your life story to somebody just because you see them as an authority figure in the Philippines.....

Ann's said "For travel abroad" and we got approved yesterday. They never even looked at what it said. Her NBI said "For Travel to US". That is the important one. Just our suggestion.

Good luck.

I guess I'll just leave it at that then? For k-1 visa purposes.. since they don't really look at it? Yeah, I heard the NBI clearance is what's important. Thanks for the tip. :)

It's called CENOMAR. You will need it when going to CFO seminar. Usually a nun will grill you what your rights and what you can do in USA so won't ben taken advantage by your fiance, etc. Kinda odd that a nun will ask you for your personal life. You need to cooperate with them otherwise you won't get your CFO sticker. No CFO sticker, can't leave Philippines. BTW, verify all information on the K1 visa sticker is correct on the passport before going to CFO seminar. If there is a type-o on the K1 visa sticker then go back immediately to the US consulate for annotation before going to CFO seminar.

Well, I just told the girl to put in "for K-1 visa purposes". I guess that's good enough.
