Was wondering about the likelihood of getting a RFE for my SO's medical. We sent in the form he received from the K1 process for his shots with the AOS applications. We filed the AOS well before the year to have to go get another physical. I do realize that we can get a RFE at anytime, but am hoping that with the transfer of my SO's case to CSC, that the likelihood is less?

You can stand me at the gates of hell, but I wont back down.

Thanks! At least now I know not to hope too much. God I hope they haven't lost his medical! That would be very nice indeed! I wanna move back down home and we cant even begin to plan until the golden ticket is in his hand.

Am prepared for the worse with these folks but I hope for the best!

They don't start looking at the nitty gritty of your case until an adjudicator picks it up. In your case that's at CSC. Other cases, it's when it gets to the local office.

The only logical explanation I have is, they're illogical when they transfer it from your POE to the USCIS office it's processed at.

Why don't they give us our medical back at the POE THEN we can file it with the AOS?

Why doesn't our local office give us the medical at the biometrics so WE can send it to the office it's being processed at? Why why why... many different scenarios they can do!

Mont Blanc, has your case been touched ever since you sent the RFE reply?

Hey guys :D

Why don't they give us our medical back at the POE THEN we can file it with the AOS?

Oh absolutely. People at the POE are not Doctor so I dont see the reason why they have to see our medicals. It would be better to USCIS working on a new procedure like a sealed envelope with the K1 or whatever visa you visa docs in it AND another sealed envelope for our medical. We can take care of our sh;t. We want to do the best work for us, so we will keep it safe. By the way sealed envelope? They love secrecy, dont they? Everything has to be sealed so no one may insert nor change datas. Fair enough but see what happens now? Our medical history, address, SSN, DOB etc was lost in their - abyss - of files. Probable some Jack Wagon will open up the medical in 6 years laughing at the poor applicant because he/she realizes how frustated he/she must have been not having his/her medical transferred... But anyway he/she will shred files and couple of thousands more so the warehouse can be cleaned up... Yeah budget was cut so they had to clean dust and empty rooms.

Mont Blanc, has your case been touched ever since you sent the RFE reply?

Yes they received my express mail at the beginning of the week and got a change into RFE Response Review. :)
