I receive my money from ASRC and they get it from BP and Conoco Phillips. Those last two are oil company's, not the government.

As far as my PFD check... the CIRI Corp busted out $250,000 to each member last year in regards to their dividends from that native corporation. Now I'm not the sharpest tool in the box, but I'm going to take a wild guess and say those $250,000 (per share holder) checks are more than my total yearly PFD dividends combined that Iv'e received since 1982.

And no, my PFD does not come from the FEDS...it's the state of Alaska seeing how this state invest it's oil money and gives it back to it's residents. Now you want to compare some measly PFD to billions of dollars in FED aid, not even counting the money the natives here get in shares from their corporations ? lol ?

Just so you aren't deceived by what Soffyia is saying on here read the link below. The state of Alaska charges the OIL COMPANY's a state tax for using OUR PIPE LINE to transfer Alaska oil to Valdez oil terminal for shipment. The state takes that money and invest it...from stock market, to other interest, and then takes the profit and gives it to each Alaska resident on a one time a year basis.

BTW, Why_Ne, ASRC gets a lot of their money from the feds. They have major contracts to provide all kinds of services with the government under their subsidiary, ASRC Management Corp., the one I consult for.

That oil comes from what was Native land. The "Hand outs" that you accuse the Natives of getting comes from land that was taken from them, first by the Russians, then by the Americans. They wouldn't need hand outs if that wasn't the case.

I was an Iron Worker on that job, and then took a call as a pipe fitter for that same job out of the fitters hall after the iron work was done. It pays sometimes to hold cards in different unions.

Didn't you say earlier that the Native Corps get their money from the feds? I believe you did, but I'm too lazy to look it up before I post this. If so, then, that's where some, if not all, of your money from them comes from, too.

LOL...you think a lot of those natives want to work in -60 temps when they don't have to ? Not even. None of us do but some of us have to in order to make ends meet. Iv'e had family that moved to Alaska from Yukon Territory before Alaska was even a state.

One side of my family is "Frisian" which was a large country at one time aka Friesland. Now it's less than a third of it's original size and is nothing more than a autonomous state inside of the Netherlands. Frieslanders do not speak Dutch as a first language, they do not speak German as a first language, nor Danish. How much money are they receiving from those three country's ? TRY ZERO. They go to work and earn a living. It's called WORK and get PAID. Everyone else does it, why not Alaskan natives ? Frisians were attacked and over run by Germans, Romans, French, Danes, etc....and they didn't receive jack ####### from it. Again they work and conformed to society.
