Can CBP give printout of visits?

Hello Everyone,

One of the questions we will need to respond to on the paperwork is, "How and when were your visits to the US" (ok can't remember the correct wording but something like that). My husband has been into the states probably 100 times as he is only 4 1/2 to 5 hours away. Do I have to list each and every visit and the dates and if so can we contact the Border Patrol and have them send us a print out?

No you can't ask border patrol.

Just make a best effort- list as many trips as you can from emails, plane tickets etc, and then write a note that there have been more, but none above X number of weeks (that's what I did and they accepted it, it was never brought up). They will understand that Canadians travel often.

I recommend listing only the details of the last two trips and then on the third line, write, "Many trips since YEAR with no overstays". Indicate the YEAR to his best recollection, of his first US visit. Works fine for this kind of situation.

Thank you for your quick response. I can certainly document the first trip as we took pictures which I included in the I-130. LOL the last one was easy too as it was Valentine's Day, Our 1st anniversary, and the weekend we filed our I-130. Not to mention our honeymoon last year when we drove and camped across the United States and back to visit my parents on the West Coast. I will document the trips for the pictures I sent and then state many many other trips. Thanks again

On a side note, I find it odd that the US demands that the immigrant obtain a report from their own country's immigration detailing a person's every international move to get the visa but can't (won't?) provide one themselves.

The DS230 doesn't ask you to document the trips. I suggested listing the requested details, such as dates and times. Please interpret what I wrote, as literally as you possibly can.
