I would seriously question why she needs to do this now. Why she would not want to wait to be with her husband and share the miracle of pregnancy and birth with him. What's the rush?

garya,

If you're the male petitioner in the USA you won't be having a petition for an alien fiance approved.

You won't find it easy to get him pregnant, either.

OK, with the K1 VISA taking sometimes a year now (or at least several months) there are probably going to be more pregnancies before couples receive their VISA. So, here's a question for you. Imagine you're the male petioner in the US and your fiance wants to get pregnant right away. She doesn't care if she has to travel to the US pregnant and doesn't even mind if the baby is born in her country before you get the VISA. She is very confident and determined and knows how to take care of herself. This is what she really wants and she is very serious.

Would you agree to that?

Why is she in such a hurry to get pregnant?

My guess is that someone told her it would make the visa process faster, or make it harder for them to deny the relationship was valid, or any other scheme to try and get here faster, etc...

But that's the pessimistic view. Maybe her biological clock is ticking and/or she's one of those idiots who thinks she's ready for kids and wants them RIGHT NOW DAMMIT.

My advice: wait on kids. You'll have plenty of time once she's there to start a family, and maybe you'd even want to wait a few years after she's been there so you have time together as a couple before throwing kids into the mix.

I believe a child when possible should be conceived in a healthy and stable enviroment. Sometimes that's not possible, but I believe in your case it is. If you're engaged and going to get married, why not wait until you're married and then conceive a child? Why spend the entire pregnancy far away instead of enjoying this beautiful moment together?

My answer is no.

No, it isn't fair to the baby to only be with one parent.

You are making assumptions. It is very likely in this scenario that the baby would be born in the US.

Ah, but you're using logic and reason here, and as we all know that doesn't always apply to a woman in love.

Love doesn't equal making babies.

I have a question: are you in a hurry to get pregnant so if by any chance your visa get denied you can somehow not lose your fiance?

In the case of the VISA getting denied, it would be difficult to not lose your fiance, pregnancy or not. Unless of course you plan on sneaking her across the border.

Other possible scenarios:The petitioner could move to her country; both could move to any other country other than the U.S. or hers.

I only offer advice - not even legal. Just the plain and simple kind.
