Once they initiate a sputum exam the x-ray becomes irrelevant.

If the x-ray was clean then why did they require the sputum exam?

I know someone who was with me during the 3-day sputum collection and his x-ray was clear except that there was just tiny blurry thing (it wasn't a scar) and on the fourth day, he was negative, and he was then cleared from medical. His interview wasn't cancelled.

I hope that they're calling you back early to clear you from medical. But we all know that St. Luke's is extremely meticulous when it comes to chest x-ray and sputum exam.

Maybe you should call and ask why they're bringing you back early.

My buddy came to USA 2 years ago on a work visa from Norway, His wife from Philippines came on his Visa to USA. After being in USA about 1.5 years she went to do her AOS. Found out she was positive for TB, all they did was tell her to stay in her house and for a few weeks while she took her TB medicine. Funny how she was able to get into American by a backdoor.

Then you have all these Illegal Aliens from Mexico, estimated 20 million. That come to USA illegally and they are never checked for disease, Criminal history, and once the make it illegally to the USA they are welcomed with opened arms by the USA Government...

I hope so too. Matt will call them tom to find out. We are also thinking if this was because of the congressional expedite sent last Monday. It was confirmed in the NVC that the expedite was sent to the embassy already. Since St. Luke's posted my name in the embassy that I'm not yet cleared from them, maybe the embassy called them about it. I had a clear x-ray, there was just tiny blurry, there were no scars. We called the congress and thought that maybe because of the expedite letter. We'll see when Matt calls tom. I was just told that my medical has the result already and I'm good to return on the 30th, that's my 4th week.

Matt just called St. Luke's and was told to let his wife (me) to go to 2nd floor on the 30th. Someone please enlighten. What's going on? I see that mine is a unique case.

Really??? I just hope the staff could have just told that "your wife is clear and is for immunization" than "let her go to 2nd floor on the 30th" WHEEEEEEEEEEW
