Aloha All

Im new here, and 2nd question so soon.

Our plan is to file all K-1 and K-2 paperworks and fees, exams interviews etc.

Then have my honey Lisa come here 1st on the 3 month finance. Then one of us go back and get her daughter within the year permited. Bringing the daughter 1st is also an option.

Im confused on the expected total costs of the K-2 (not including transportation and misc) and the timeline AOS of the K-2.

Any thoughts, suggestions or advise. Thankyou in advanced

Except for no initial petition filing fee, the direct costs for the K2 visa are identical to the K1. Adjustment of status gets a discount for the child IF their application is concurrent with their parent.

on our case ,at first, i planned not to bring my kids because i thought that would be my fiance's decision but i was wrong he doesnt want me to leave the kids in the Philippines coz lots of advantage if im with the kids as he explained to me no. 1 is peace of mind on my part he knows in the 1st pl;ace that kids are too close to me and dependent in terms of many things and offcourse i can take care of them so over all peace of mind the disadvantage is if im gonna leave them in the Phils. i need to send money and u might not know that will coz fire between u and her if keep on sending and not sure if it goes really to my kids ifever but if the kids is just like 2.6mos most of the time it really needs the attention of a mom that age is critical anything can happen for a 1 yr of stay if away from mom . BTW my kids are 11 and 13 and considered as adolescent still dont trust anybody to take care of them if away from me i love my kids so much and my husband knows that . the only disadvantage in bringing them here it cost too much but if u are out of budget make sure someone will take care and honest and can stand to be the mom all the time rem. that age should have a close monitoring because shes still a toddler hope it helps
