Okay so we got approved for are the steps to get the medical and interview scheduled. I have heard a lot of conflicting things so trying to get a concise idea of what to do.

What are the websites to go to. Do we need to have the physical NOA2, and letter of approval that my fiancee get(can we do it with out theme). Where do i go to make an appointment, where do i go to make the fees, etc. This is all in the philippines, so I know at least I will be going to manila embassy and st peters hospital for the processing.

Oh almost forgot we were able to get the Manila case number, does this mean they have our files?

so ur case has been throught NVC and is on the way to Manila (since u got ur manila case number) now u just need to begin gathering the essential documents other than what the embassy requires. I-134 affidavits of support and documents, a copy of ur original I 129f and originals of the evidence provided, proof of ongoing relationship, updated intent to marry letters, etc. then the embassy will send ur SO packet 3 and that will contain all of the instructions for other documents needed and the next steps u need to take.

i would also suggest posting this in ur regional forum to get more specific advice on what happens exactly in the manila embassy plus do a search i am sure there is alot of info in the forums about what happens at the manila consulate.

Okay I have copies of my support (Tax Returns, Bank Statements, and pay stubs). I also have evidence of ongoing relationship(we have statement and receipts from apartment we have been living together in since jan. this year). With the intent to marry do we need to change the dates, because the dates have not changed as of yet. I also have all of the original documents/copies that i sent withthe initial 129f.

I dont understand what the SO packet 3 is. We have not received anything extra from the visa center yet. Only an email and the uscis site stating that the visa was approved. Is there an url i can go to see the instructions?

This is the place to post your experiences or questions related to this last step before moving to the US. Topics relating to I-134's, packets sent from consulate and medical & police certificates should be posted here.

with the intent to marry u just need to just update the dates to closer to ur interview time (when it gets scheduled). as for packet 3 the embassy will contact u when they receive your petition from NVC and then apparently (based on another users post) will send (you or your so, not sure which/both) the information u need and a link to download the forms for packet 3. then u have to do what they ask and send them back and then u will get packet 4.

There is no packet 3 nor packet 4.

After the Embassy receives your physical file from the NVC and enters it into their system, the Embassy is supposed to send the beneficiary this letter.

If the beneficiary does not receive the letter within a few weeks (or so) from the time your physical case file leaves the NVC and is sent to the Embassy, go ahead and pay the visa fee, and try to schedule an interview either online or through the call center. Keep trying to schedule. Be persistent.
