Hi, I am applying IR5 for my dad, he is currently visiting me in US now .Got some questions for the I-130 form as below, and any reply will be appreciated:

1, It asks for my “A number”, I am a citizen now, should I write down my previous A number?

2, It asks” If your relative is not eligible for adjustment of status, he or she will apply for a visa abroad at the American consular post in……”, I plan to apply IR5,not AOS, but does my dad eligible for AOS?

3, As for my birth certificate and my dad marriage certificate, can I mail the copy one instead of the original one?

Thank you so much .

1. It is your A number from your certificate of naturalization.

2. If your dad's I-94 has not expired and meets other requirements (I-485 instructions) he can file I-485 at the same time as I-130 (also called concurrent filing).

3. Send copies, not originals. USCIS or US consulate will ask to see originals during interview.
