Yes our target was the Viet-cong. It was a lose lose situation. I find it disturbing that your anger lies with the US and not Pol Pot and his chronies.

You are referring to the areas along the Ho Chi Minh Trail and the Mekong River (Operation Menu), I suppose.

The subject is rational discussion so I find it odd you'd characterize fishdude's position that way when he has given no indication whatsoever that he is actually angry.

Perhaps you're projecting? Are you angry? If so, what about?
