This sounds stupid but I just have a quick question. I am a PH citizen and a US GC holder, so I know I can travel back to PH without problems. If I return back to the US, do I still have to go through getting a visa (or anything related to going to the US embassy in PH)? I am guessing I don't, and all I have to do is grab my passport and ticket and present those to the travel officers with my GC for the return trip to US. Can someone confirm, please? :)

Assume I am just visiting PH for a few weeks. I just want to breathe easy knowing I won't have to think about travel forms and twisted loopholes (sometimes officers just like to make your life harder). :P

Since you have your GC your set. No Visa is needed. You will need to pay the travel tax but show your GC and it will be reduced from the Php1650.

It's not a stupid question at all.

No, you don't need any special visa to return to U.S. If you stay outside of U.S. more than one year, you will need a re-entry permit. For travel less than one year, you can use your green card.

Hope this helps you! Enjoy your trip!

What is that travel tax of P1,650? My wife, a LPR, and I only paid P750 (terminal fee).

The travel tax is the tax that each Philippines citizen needs to pay in addition to the ticket. Depending upon where the ticket is purchased the tax may have been included already. Typically tickets purchased in Phil have the tax added. The amount of the tax depends upon if the person is leaving on a Visa, OFW, or a Resident of another country. Now it also requires the airlines to enforce it when issuing boarding passes.

When Trisha left on her K3 she had to pay 1650.

The next three times since she had her GC is was something like 250.

Well, that changes everything. Yes, normally for merchandise and services purchased in the Philippines...there will be a variety of taxes added. This is normal. However, if the OP is leaving the U.S. on a round-trip ticket (hopefully purchased in the U.S.), there will be NO travel tax. If purchased in the Philippines, though, additional taxes may be collected.

We used Expedia to book our flights. During booking, they did not require passenger's immigration status. My wife's ticket cost exactly the same as mine. No additional tax was added to hers due to her LPR status.

Well, thank you for your responses, that certainly helped! I believe we would most likely purchase a round trip ticket when that happens, and most likely booked on a travel/airline site. :)
