Petitioner LPR upgraded to USC June 22, 2012
August 22, 2012: case complete
October 18, 2012: Interview (APPROVED)
October 26, 2012: Picked up visa from DHL (delay caused by Sandy)
December 15, 2012: POE Atlanta....................became USC July 2016!!!!

Mothers' Journey (My sister is the petitioner)

September 10, 2013: Sent I-130 (UPS next day service)

September 12, 2013: Received text to confirm delivery

September 16, 2013: Received NOA 1

March 22, 2014: Received NOA 2

April 8, 2014: File Received by NVC

May 26, 2015: Interview (approved)..........now LPR (delays caused by 2 RFE)

Thanks Island, I kept saying people call it different things and its the same cake. :blink:

Some of my friends call it rum cake or black cake. Eat too much of it on an empty stomach and it make you drunk.

Pinkrlion - I wish you the best on your up coming wedding. I have been married now for 15 days and getting ready to file the Adjustment of Status paperwork.

So Mr Smiley....you're busy AOSing huh!!?? ;) Its nice when its finally in the mail! Hopefully well get his GC in a Jan/Feb. I need to call them today and make sure they have the correct address for us. It took 3 attempts to get the EAD. I'm not going through that again.

Ugh! And do you know what I think I forgot to send with my packet but cant find it here....his vaccination paperwork!!! I cant find it in our paperwork and I dont recall sending it. Now I sit and wait for dreaded RFE. Keeping fingers crossed!!

Because you want to ultimately delay the Mr. from getting his EAD so he is home longer and available whenever you are. :whistle: JCricket did just that and now after her what 3rd attempt is just getting her EAD card after immigration screwing up? HA! Between the rest of us we know her husband was getting suspicious & worried. He knew he would need to work real hard for his new family but he didn't think it would be limited to the missus'demands.

Oh, HAPPY belated WEDDING CONGRATULATIONS. How was the 'every name in the book' cake?
