I'm just trying to make sure were sending our packet to the correct address. As I'm adjusting my status(I-485) based on an I-130 and not an I-129f as were just over 2 years married, Is either of the 2 address's below correct?

The USCIS Chicago Lockbox:

For U.S. Postal Service:

USCIS

P.O. Box 804625

Chicago, IL 60680-4107

---------------------------------------

For Express mail and courier deliveries:

USCIS

Attn: I-130

131 South Dearborn-3rd Floor

Chicago, IL 60603-5517

You send your package to the Chicago lockbox, and both of those addresses are for that. Which one you use depends on how you mail it - like it says on USCIS and in the instructions, if you use regular USPS, use the first one (P.O. box) and for fedEx and UPS the second one. USPS express mail apparently delivers to a PO Box.

(just to note, on the express mail address, it is Attn: FBAS).

So If I use express mail by USPS as we want it to get there by tomorrow, We send it to the PO BOX address?

Reason were using USPS is we've been told their more reliable (not sure if thats correct)

USPS more reliable than UPS or FedEx? Well.. I personally would not agree with that, but that's just me.

When you mail things, ANYTHING via ANY SERVICE can always be delivered to a person - which is effectively what the second address is for. The restrictions are about PO Boxes. FedEx and UPS will not deliver to a PO Box, because they cannot have anyone sign for the delivery if it is a PO box address. USPS Express mail does deliver to a PO Box.

So, what I am saying is, if you want to use USPS express mail, you can use either address. If you use regular USPS, you can use either address. If you use FedEx or UPS, you have to use the second one.

You can get it there tomorrow via anything but regular USPS. If you use the PO Box, it might not be picked up from the box until Friday, depending on what time it reaches the box tomorrow. A USCIS employee empties the box, and I think they do it once a day.
