Men who physically abuse their wives often bawl and cry afterwards for supposedly being sorry. I guess I don't see this much differently, but - it's up to you. I just hope you have the support you need if this continues. I would take GirlWithAGerman up on her offer, just in case.

Maybe he is just nervous about the weeding? Some guys have a hard time showing love..they get nervous. Just go to a marriage counselor and if that does not work then you are on your own to make your own decision.

The only thing a second chance is going to do is give him the opportunity to put on an act long enough to manipulate you into marriage. Wrong, wrong, wrong.

You already know what he's like.

Pay attention to how you FEEL. You are calling yourself Sad woman. You should be with a man that makes you feel Happy Woman.

The second chance you need to give is for YOURSELF. Give yourself the chance to be with someone who will treat you right. This one is certain to make you miserable.

She can't change him. He won't change, unless HE wants to, and he doesn't sound like he is anywhere near the point of being emotionally mature enough to be so self-reflective. Why be with someone who you already need to see a marriage counselor about? Talk about work!!
